SERVICES + PRICING

Clear Services. Clear Pricing.

Every vehicle does not need the same level of work. Start with the vehicle’s current condition and the result you want to achieve, then use the three service paths below to understand where your vehicle fits.

Additional protection for glass, wheels, trim and impact-prone surfaces is selected where it provides meaningful value.

VEHICLE SIZE GUIDE

What Size Is My Vehicle?

Vehicle size helps determine the time, materials and surface area involved in certain VDS services. Our Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large categories are based primarily on the vehicle’s overall footprint, body style and surface area—not simply whether the manufacturer calls it a car, crossover, SUV or truck.

S

Small

Compact vehicles with a relatively small exterior and interior working area.

Typically

Sports cars, coupes, compact sedans and small hatchbacks.

Examples: Porsche 911, Subaru BRZ, Mazda MX-5.
M

Medium

Vehicles with a moderate overall footprint and working area.

Typically

Midsize sedans, compact SUVs and crossovers.

Examples: BMW 3/5 Series, Tesla Model 3/Y, Porsche Macan, Toyota RAV4.
L

Large

Larger vehicles with substantially more bodywork, glass and interior surface area.

Typically

Larger SUVs, three-row crossovers, wagons and midsize trucks.

Examples: BMW X5, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ford Explorer, Ford Ranger.
XL

Extra Large

Full-size or oversized vehicles requiring the greatest working area and service time.

Typically

Full-size SUVs and full-size pickup trucks.

Examples: Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban, Ford Expedition, Ford F-150, RAM 1500/TRX.

Between Two Categories?

Some vehicles sit between traditional size classes. In those cases, VDS considers the actual body dimensions, configuration, usable surface area and the amount of work required rather than relying on the badge or vehicle class alone. For example, a compact crossover with a larger body may be treated differently from a similarly named sedan.

Still not sure? These categories are a guide. Tell us what you drive when you enquire and VDS will confirm the appropriate vehicle size before your service.

How pricing works

What Determines Your Price?

Three things. Everything else is noise.

1. Vehicle size.

More surface area means more time, more material, more glass, more wheels. A 911 and an F-150 are not the same job, and the price should not pretend they are. Use the size guide above to see where your vehicle lands.

2. Paint condition.

This is the big one, and it is why “from” pricing exists. Light wash marring calls for an enhancement; heavy swirls and oxidation call for correction. The assessment determines the level — never more machine work than the finish calls for, never less than it needs.

3. Protection term.

One year, three years, five years — matched to how you use the vehicle and how long you intend to keep it. Longer terms use higher-grade coatings and deeper preparation. The right term is the one that fits your ownership plans, not the most expensive one.

PAINT ALREADY LOOKS GOOD

Ceramic Detail

A comprehensive interior and exterior detail for vehicles whose paint already presents well. The vehicle is cleaned, decontaminated and prepared before professional ceramic protection is applied to paint, windshield and exterior glass, and wheel faces—without automatically adding machine paint restoration.

PAINT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

Restore + Protect

Condition-appropriate paint restoration followed by professional ceramic protection. Every service begins by evaluating the finish and determining the appropriate level of preparation and restoration before protection is applied. Choose the protection period that best matches how the vehicle is used and how long you intend to keep it; the restoration work is determined by the vehicle, not simply the protection term.

Start with the condition, not the coating term.

The appropriate level of paint preparation or restoration is determined first. The 1, 3 or 5-year protection term is then selected around how the vehicle is used, maintained and how long you plan to own it.

ALREADY PROTECTED

Preserve on a Clear Maintenance Rhythm.

Preservation is for vehicles already protected and ready to be maintained. The cadence changes with use and condition, but the objective stays the same: maintain appearance, control contamination and support the protection already in place without repeating unnecessary restorative work.

PRESERVE PRICING

Clear Pricing by Vehicle Size.

Your vehicle size determines the scheduled Preserve price. The size guide above explains how VDS classifies each vehicle.

COMPLIMENTARY PICKUP & RETURN

Included with Every Preserve Service.

Professional vehicle care without adding another appointment to your day.

Designed for an established maintenance baseline.

Preserve pricing assumes the vehicle is suitable for maintenance rather than restoration. Excessive contamination, staining, pet hair, paint correction or other restorative work is assessed separately and discussed before additional work is performed.

TARGETED PROTECTION

Protect More Than the Paint — Where It Makes Sense.

These services can be selected individually or incorporated into a broader vehicle-protection strategy. Some are already included with applicable Ceramic Detail or Restore + Protect services, so standalone protection is recommended only where it adds meaningful value.

PRICING FAQ

Pricing Questions, Answered.

Because fixed prices are how you end up paying for work your car does not need — or getting work it does need skipped. The “from” figure is the honest starting point for your size and path; the assessment sets the final number based on your paint’s actual condition. You will know the full price before any work begins.

Size, condition, and protection term — in that order. Two identical models can price differently if one lived outside for five years and the other slept in a garage. That is not upselling; it is the difference between an enhancement and a correction.

We do not sell coating on its own, and here is why: a coating seals in whatever sits underneath it. Applied over swirled or oxidized paint, it locks in the damage. Every VDS coating includes the preparation and restoration the finish needs first — that is what the Restore + Protect grid reflects, from $1,250 for a small vehicle at one year to $2,250 for an extra-large at five years.

Coating grade, preparation depth, and maintenance expectations. A one-year coating is honest protection for a lease or a car you will sell soon. Five-year is a higher-grade system for a keeper — and it only performs if it is maintained, which is what the Preserve program is for. The assessment matches the term to your ownership plans.

Maybe — that is what the assessment is for. Light marring may only need an enhancement; heavier defects need correction; and if your paint already presents well, a Ceramic Detail ($795–$895) may be all it needs. We recommend the least work that achieves the result, not the most.

Yes — that is the Preserve program. Scheduled maintenance from $195 keeps the coating performing the way it should and protects the investment you made in the restoration.
