REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS
The Windshield Works Harder Than the Rest of the Glass.

The windshield sees direct road contamination, insects, washer fluid, cleaning and repeated wiper abrasion. Hydrophobic behavior can therefore change sooner than on side or rear glass.
Less Mechanical Abrasion.
Side and rear glass generally experience less mechanical wear. Properly prepared protection on these surfaces can retain useful behavior differently from the windshield.
